The knights made their way into the village; no help

from Balkey, mind you. Helen Bluesock came by. 

Broke junk up, she did, and then she escorted the knights

into Great Town to see that Pin they seemed so hot 

on seeing. The junk was the fight that was bound to break

out with those brittle boys jawing at Balkey such as.

Being no-towners, they didn’t know Balkey was the man

with the fists. The pugilist of Pic Street he was called

as a young one, demon in eyes and action. Now, 

Great Town knew him simply

as Balkey, son of Bix the Brawler who was said to have

shacked up with a broonie: months later, Balkey pops 

out swinging. No, no – them knights didn’t know all that.
