the stairs. briefcase in a hand,


hat in another, “honey, I’m home,”

blood in the eyes. murder.


american horror. sorry. it’s all too

predictable. you heard? texas has


the most annihilated families. usually

it’s pops that pops off, but a gun works


in any hand. back to salaryman back

from the cubicle land. it’s a strong scene.


right before halloween, sweetness finds

its way into aisles, blood, words shared


that shouldn’t be shared. jealousy does

sick things to the brain. now, when the veil


is thin, it is best not to let the predictable in.
